Adoption of livestock insurance in Punjab: Extent and constraints

The present study has been designed to investigate the extent of insurance coverage dairy animals in Punjab and highlighting constraints faced by households its adoption. primary data were collected from 100 Patiala Moga districts based on their rank milk production secondary extracted central state government publications. results showed that ranked at 8th position among states terms number beneficiaries availing loan as well with a total 1877 year 2018-19 contributing 4.8 per cent India.
